Next.js
Next.js and React Developer in Lahore, Pakistan
I build React and Next.js interfaces that are fast for the person using them and readable for the next engineer. I am based in Lahore, Pakistan, and the frontends I ship usually sit on an API I also understand, whether that API is NestJS, Laravel, or both. This page is for teams that need the public site, the app shell, and the data loading to be designed together.
What I build
A Next.js engagement for me is not a pile of client components calling fetch in a useEffect. I decide which routes should render on the server, which can be static, and which must stay interactive. Marketing and listing pages get HTML that a crawler and a slow phone can both use. Authenticated tools stay client-side where that is simpler, with a clear loading and error state. I have shipped this split on Tour27, where listings and itineraries needed to be found, and the admin CMS needed to be quick for staff.
React work that is not Next.js still shows up: dashboards, internal tools, and islands of UI inside a larger platform. REConnect's product surface includes React next to a Laravel core. darzi.online, the tailoring business system I founded, uses React and Next.js for orders, measurements, and ledgers, and it is used by 500+ businesses. I care about forms that do not lose state, tables that stay usable, and components that match the domain instead of a generic kit left over from a template.
I also treat the frontend as part of the contract with the API. Types or a written schema for each response. No silent fallback that hides a 500. Images with width and height so the layout does not jump. If the page is a marketing or catalog page, the important text is in the HTML, which is the same standard I hold this portfolio to.
Relevant projects
Tour27 is the Next.js case study: travel discovery, lead capture, and an admin CMS, with server rendering and static generation chosen per route. REConnect shows React beside a large Laravel platform used by 15,000+ agents. darzi.online is the product I founded and still describe as a Next.js and React application for a real operational workflow, not a demo. If you need the story of the API behind Tour27, the case study covers both sides.

Stack
The UI stack is React and Next.js, with TypeScript. Styling follows the product. On this portfolio it is hand-written CSS because that matched the design. On a product I use the system the team already has, as long as it does not hide layout bugs. Data comes from NestJS or Laravel over REST. I use server rendering when the page is content, and I avoid a client-only fetch for the primary heading and the first paragraph. Docker and a normal CI pipeline ship the app. I am not religious about a particular state library. Most screens need server data and a little local state, not a global store.
- React, Next.js, TypeScript
- Server rendering and static generation where they help
- REST clients for NestJS and Laravel APIs
- Forms, dashboards, and content pages
- Accessible markup, stable layout, HTML that contains the main copy
Process
I begin with the routes and the data each route needs. If we cannot name the first screen and its API, I do not start by picking a component library. The first delivery is one real path: a listing, a dashboard, or a signup, on a preview URL, with the empty and error states included.
Reviews happen on that URL, not on a screenshot thread. I am in Lahore (UTC+5) and I overlap US East Coast mornings so design and product comments from the start of your day are not waiting until the next morning. New messages get a reply within one business day.
Pricing and engagement
Next.js and React work is priced as a fixed slice when the screens are known, or as a retainer when the interface will keep moving with the API. A marketing site is not the same engagement as an authenticated product, and I will say so before we start. Email aamirallidev@gmail.com or the homepage contact form with the routes you care about and who the user is. I work remotely from Lahore and overlap US East Coast mornings. I do not take on-site contracts.
FAQ
Do you build Next.js apps that are mostly client-rendered?
Only when the screen is an authenticated tool and HTML content is not the point. Public pages get server-rendered or static HTML so the primary content is present without waiting on the client bundle.
Can you work with a design that already exists?
Yes. I implement from a clear design and I will flag layout, contrast, and content problems before they are baked into components. I do not redesign your brand as a side effect of writing React.
Will you also build the API?
Often, yes. Tour27 was NestJS and Next.js together. If you already have a Laravel or Node API, I will build the client against it and keep the contract explicit.
Where are you based, and when can we meet?
Lahore, Pakistan, UTC+5. I overlap US East Coast mornings for calls and reviews. Send times in your timezone and I will answer with a slot that lands in that window.
How do I hire you for a Next.js build?
Write to aamirallidev@gmail.com with the pages, the API you have or need, and the date you want a first route live. I typically reply within one business day.
